Job Summary

A software developer and consulting firm has an open position for a Remote Database Administrator Associate.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Providing Oracle/Sybase Database Administration in an enterprise environment
• Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, maintaining, upgrading and documenting all aspects of the Oracle/Sybase/ETL architecture
• Performing optimization and performance testing

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or a Master’s degree in related discipline
• Two (2)+ years of database experience maintaining Oracle/Sybase databases
• Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance
• Ability to obtain a certification relevant to the computing environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment at a fast pace with multiple deadlines
• Provide administration for databases
