Job Summary
A company providing integrated information technology solutions is seeking a Remote Database Administrator in Orlando.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments
- Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance
- Conduct overall Windows OS troubleshooting in relation to client issues including but not limited to performance and errors
Qualifications for this position include:
- 2-5 years MS SQL Server Administration experience
- Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
- L2 level knowledge on T-SQL
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server, specifically AlwaysOn
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Having a flexible, team player, “get-it-done” personality
