Job Summary

A staffing agency is seeking a Remote Database Administrator in Overland Park.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Supporting day-to-day operational maintenance
  • Providing 24 x 7 support and management of NoSQL databases
  • Defining and implementing backup and archival strategies

Qualifications Include:

  • 4 years of experience installing, configuring, and administering NoSQL databases
  • Solid knowledge of NoSQL database concepts
  • Solid experience working in Linux environment with a minimum of 3 years of Linux proficiency required
  • BS in Computer Science and/or equivalent work experience
  • Couch base and Cassandra administrative experience mandatory
