Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing continuous support to IT analyst and development staff to ensure DB best practices are used in all projects
- Regularly monitoring DB system and alerts DBAs, Capacity, or tech teams, as appropriate, of potential issues
- Developing solutions to improve the effectiveness of the processes and procedures used by DBA staff
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, business or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience required as Db2 DBA for z/OS (mainframe) and LUW
- Advanced SQL coding and operation systems skills
- Advanced understanding of logical and physical database design concepts
- Advanced understanding of Database Management System software
