Job Summary

A health insurance company is seeking a Remote Database Engineer 2.

Must be able to:

  • Develop database architectures to address business requirements, ensuring system scalability, security, performance and reliability
  • Design database applications such as interfaces, data transfer mechanisms and data partitions to enable efficient access of the generic database structure
  • Create plans for architecture updates and integrates new systems with existing warehouse structure to refine performance/functionality

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience
  • 2+ years of SQL Server and SSIS
  • Experience designing, developing, and testing of data pipelines and infrastructure
  • 2+ years of database management experience
  • 2+ years of Python experience
  • Experience leading project delivery
