Job Summary

A software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Database QA Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Formulating QA plans for new features and product releases
  • Evaluating new features and product releases, and locating product issues & bugs
  • Assisting clients with implementing various items relating to their QA environment

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Be available for onsite trainings and/or events at any time
  • Proficient in bash/shell/python scripting
  • Proficient with MySQL server, InnoDB, SQL
  • Suitable Linux expertise (file systems, hardware, and networking)
  • Good communicator with fluent written and spoken English
  • Previous exposure to QA, or equivalent experience in a senior support, development or a non-database QA role
