Job Summary

A social media company has an open position for a Remote Database Site Reliability Engineering Manager.

Must be able to:

  • Help individuals on your team build and execute personal development plans
  • Mentor, grow, and empower your team
  • Scale the team up by sourcing and hiring hardworking Site Reliability Engineers both externally and internally

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience successfully managing a team of 4-7 engineers on large-scale projects
  • 5+ years of software support, reliability, or operations engineering experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Experience bringing a strong perspective and collaborative partnership
  • Experience formulating a team's technical strategy and roadmap, and you've collaborated effectively with several other teams
  • Comfortable leading discussions with upper management and have experience tailoring the level of technical details to suit the audience
