Job Summary
A government agency consulting group is filling a position for a Remote Database Specialist II.
Must be able to:
- Modify existing wildlife database structure to support a spatial crocodile database
- Modify existing wildlife database structure to support front-end access tools for non-experts
- Integrate existing environmental data with crocodile data to facilitate spatial analyses
Qualifications for this position include:
- Experience with enterprise-level geospatial database systems, particularly in PostgreSQL/PostGIS
- Experience working with spatial data and map products in ESRI ArcGIS or QGIS
- Experience utilizing web-based front-ends for data entry and querying
- Experience collaborating with data analysts or scientists
