Job Summary

A technology company is seeking a Remote Datacenter Senior Systems Engineer in Dallas

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing professional services to new or existing customers
  • Providing business and technical consulting, analysis, design, implementation, system troubleshooting, performance optimization, and documentation
  • Supporting pre-sales configuration and design activities

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 50% travel to client locations in the US only
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or similar field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a systems engineer or consultant
  • One or more of the following current certification(s): VMware VCAP-DCV, VCIX-DCV, VCIX-CMA and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to translate technology-related jargon to diverse groups of technical and non-technical users
  • Self-motivation with ability to perform quality work within deadlines and budget with or without direct supervision
