Job Summary

A mortgage company is seeking a Remote DE Certified VA Underwriter.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Review loans and issue an underwriting decision
  • Analyze the credit-worthiness, collateral, accuracy of Total Scorecard
  • Issue the Loan Transmittal and the Conditional Commitment

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must have DE (CHUMS ID)
  • 3 years experience in FHA and Conventional Underwriting
  • Up-to-date with mortgagee letters, specifically ones released since 01/2008
  • Have been actively underwriting FHA loans for the past 24 months
  • Knowledge of Investor Guidelines, Product Delivery, and AUS engines
