Job Summary
A staffing and recruiting agency has a current position open for a Remote DE Mortgage Underwriter in Jacksonville.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Examining and analyzing loan documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Determining overall acceptability of the loan, using discretion to analyze other parts of loan package
- Using financial statements, income worksheets, tax returns and debt ratios to identify any concerns
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree from 4-year college or university in Finance/Business or other related area of study or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Must have valid DE/CHUMS ID and VA SAR ID
- Minimum five years’ experience underwriting FHA/VA Loans
- Experience underwriting USDA loans
- Experience processing Conventional, FHA and VA USDA
- In-depth understanding of processing, underwriting, and closing procedures
