Job Summary
A staffing agency needs applicants for an opening for a Remote DE Underwriter in Los Angeles.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing and analyzing the mortgage loan application to ensure eligibility
- Reviewing all required loan data, reports, and inspections
- Making independent decisions regarding acceptance and risk of loans
Position Requirements Include:
- Two to four years related experience or equivalent, DE Underwriter
- Must have mortgage industry experience
- Working knowledge of real estate documentation, policies, compliance, and procedures
- High level of proficiency with mortgage loan processing and underwriting systems
- Proficient on computer programs required for the position
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
