Job Summary

An insurance company is in need of a Remote Decision Science Analyst.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Providing decision support for business areas across the enterprise
• Applying mathematical and statistical techniques and/or innovative /quantitative analytical approaches
• Gathering, manipulating and synthesizing data, models and other relevant information to draw conclusions

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's in quantitative analytics such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, etc; OR
• 4 years experience in statistics, mathematics or quantitative analytics may be substituted in lieu of degree
• 4 years of experience in data/analytics or functional business experience
• Demonstrates competency in mathematical and statistical techniques and approaches
• Knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, developing analysis queries and procedures in SQL
