Job Summary

An online education company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote DEI Student Support Project Specialist.

Must be able to:

  • Provide mentorship, career coaching, and networking opportunities to engineers from underrepresented backgrounds
  • Expand the Telegraph Track program to include pre, during, and post-program support
  • Create and implement an ongoing mentor recruitment plan

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Passion for diversity, equity, inclusion and access in education, and service
  • Experience with supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds in formal or informal roles
  • Software Engineering knowledge, Javascript knowledge, related emerging technologies, and relevant development tools
  • Mission-driven, highly autonomous, conscientious, reliable, self-motivated and solution-oriented
  • Ability to model student progress and remove educational roadblocks
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite or related software
