Job Summary

A nonprofit organization has a current position open for a Remote Delaware River Basin Environmental Protection Program Manager.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Understanding and promoting integration of citizen-led water monitoring efforts
  • Analyzing, understanding, sharing, and leveraging support for clean and swimmable waters
  • Participating and leading meetings, calls, and working groups across the region

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Ability to travel within the Delaware Basin region and nationally, attend the annual conference and 1-2 staff retreats/year
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in a related field with at least 3-5 years professional work experience
  • Experience working with community-based groups and leaders and organizations
  • Understanding of or experience with the role and opportunity citizen-led volunteer monitoring efforts
  • Experience working with state and federal water protection laws and policies
