Job Summary

A democracy non-profit needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Democracy Advocacy Senior Organizer or Strategic Organizing Director.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Providing core leadership to and management of the organizing team
• Leading key components of the ambitious organizing program
• Driving fundraising efforts

Required Skills:

• Willingness and ability to travel (once safe, given COVID-19)
• Significant experience as a manager, organizer and institution-builder
• A track record of effectiveness in fundraising, base-building, campaigning, and electoral engagement
• Ability to build and maintain relationships of trust with diverse organizations and partners
• A deep and demonstrated commitment to social and racial justice issues
• Understanding of challenges facing immigrant communities, and communities of color
