Remote Denials Management Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Denials Management Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve outstanding denials and complete necessary follow-up
• Identify denial trends and provide education to prevent future denials
• Manage insurance appeals and outstanding accounts receivable related to denials

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• 4 years of experience in medical billing with exposure to denials and appeals
• Knowledge of ICD9 and CPT-4 coding
• Familiarity with insurance explanation of benefits and claims processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
