Job Summary
A healthcare staffing company has a current position open for a Remote Denials Specialist in Atlanta.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Helping this team identity AR 'trends' within their biggest accounts
- Tracking and recording certain trends within their patient account systems
- Tracking large amount of data (denials and appeals mainly) and making decisions based off that data
Qualifications for this position include:
- Good knowledge of insurance payers
- Good understanding of the revenue cycle process especially with collections
- Computer skills in the following: EXCEL, Tableau and pivotal tables etc.
- At least 2 to 3 years of denials/appeals in hospital revenue cycle would be preferred
