Job Summary
Leading the design function with authority, the fully remote salaried Director of Design will set the UI/UX and brand direction, oversee a high-performing design team, and collaborate closely with engineering and marketing to create intuitive and visually compelling digital experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Drive design leadership by setting UI/UX standards and ensuring cohesive visual language across products and marketing
- Own and evolve the design and typographic systems while leading the design of complex product flows

Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in product and digital brand design, with a proven track record of leading design teams
- Demonstrated authority in making design decisions and driving them to completion
- Strong technical partnership experience with frontend engineering, particularly in Next.js and TypeScript
- Ability to transform complex, data-dense workflows into elegant user interfaces
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Framer, with a strong portfolio showcasing studio-grade craft
