Job Summary
A financial technology company has a current position open for a Remote Design Systems Staff Product Designer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Building experimental/demo culture with collaborations across disciplinary teams
- Ensuring our design system meets baseline accessibility requirements and is built with WCAG 2.1 in mind
- Designing and maintaining a library of high-quality components and user interface patterns
Position Requirements Include:
- 5 to 8 years of experience in the product design field
- Strong portfolio demonstrating samples of best practice Design System deliverables
- Experience working within a product company with mature design systems
- You are efficient with the design tool (Figma) with good eyes on the details down to pixel level
- Expert in design tokens from naming strategy to color theory and typography
- Strong information architecture skills with great facilitation skills in running workshops
