Job Summary
A software company has a current position open for a Remote Developer Advocate.
Must be able to:
- Engage with the Progress Developer Expert community frequently to build relationships
- Enable customer success by building sample projects
- Drive the success of Progress products by delivering articulate, effective, and entertaining written content
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Must be willing to travel to industry events to deliver presentations and support onsite marketing activities, 25% travel expected
- Relevant domain expertise in the product area(s) assigned
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS OR equivalent practical experience
- Understanding of fundamental programming concepts, with 3 to 5 years of development experience
- 2 years of recent experience in two or more of the following languages: JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Java, Objective-C, or Swift
- Experience presenting at tech conferences/hackathons/meetups, or a willingness to learn
