Job Summary
A non-profit advocacy organization has an open position for a Remote Development Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing Strategies and Implementing Workplans
- Building and Leading the Development Team
- Enhancing Administrative Functions
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience securing financial support for mission-driven nonprofits from a variety of sources
- Demonstrated ability to secure substantial grants and individual gifts
- Minimum of three years’ experience supervising fundraising staff
- Familiarity with fundraising and/or CRM databases; experience with SALSA
- Deep knowledge of the funding landscape at national, regional and state levels
- Exceptional writer, storyteller, and communicator skilled in analyzing, breaking down, and communicating complex ideas in ways that inspire others to action
