Job Summary
A non profit organization is seeking a Remote Development Director in Seattle.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Managing the current pipeline and proactively identify and research new funding leads
- Developing proposals, letters of inquiry, reports, budgets, and fundraising collateral
- Providing direction and oversight to staff involved in the day-to-day activities
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Some travel required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and training
- Minimum five years of experience in donor cultivation and grant writing
- Proven track record of raising funds from diverse sources
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- A demonstrated commitment to accountability and measuring outcomes
