Job Summary

A social media company has an open position for a Remote Development Environment Senior Software Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Write code primarily in Python, Scala, and shell scripts to run on macOS and Linux
  • Work in an Agile, CI/CD environment
  • Mentor other engineers on the team

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in standard software engineering practices
  • Proficient in Scala, Java, Python or similar programming languages
  • Experience with design, deployment and monitoring of reliable services
