Job Summary
A media company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Device Engineering Director in New York City.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Hiring, managing and fostering a global group of engineering teams
- Driving strategy and execution in service of different revenue models
- Interfacing with Editors and Product Managers, and web focused Engineering Managers
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Transition to onsite in New York City when the office reopens
- Experience delivering native iOS applications
- Experience delivering native Android applications
- Motivated self-starter; Enthusiastic, creative, and pragmatic
- Code chops: at least 7 years experience as a developer
- Have managed managers or teams larger than 10 before
