Job Summary
An information technology company is seeking a Remote DevOps Cloud Application Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Work closely with Developers and Architects to create fully automated CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning
- Maintain the existing build & deployment process, and drive improvements in availability
- Guide and mentor team members and take a lead on new initiatives alongside devlopment team collaboration
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in building and deploying applications and infrastructure
- Extensive experience with Public Cloud Infrastructure and container-based deployments
- Proven experience in build and deployment process via DevOps tools like AWS CodeBuild, AWS, CodePipeline, Jenkins, Ansible
- Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and applications with a strong background in Python or TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of current technologies, with proficiency in the areas of automation, DevOps, cloud native architecture
- Experience with both Relational and NoSQL databases and implementation of infrastructure security
