Job Summary

A company running a pet adoption website needs applicants for an opening for a Remote DevOps Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Design, configure, and maintain the deployment and operations in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Present and explain concepts, answer questions and communicate with internal and external clients
  • Understand and work with legacy systems

Qualifications for this position include:

  • AWS Certified Developer, SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect or higher
  • Operations with AWS experience
  • Automation, configuration management, and build, deployment processes using either Jenkins, or GitHub
  • Linux/Unix administration experience
  • Ansible, Puppet, Chef or other configuration management “infrastructure as code”
  • Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills
