Job Summary
A WordPress hosting solutions provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote DevOps Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Building and maintaining the infrastructure powering our Managed WordPress Hosting Platform
- Using languages such as PHP, Lua, and Python, and tools like Ansible and Terraform
- Handling incoming alerts, fielding the more complex support tickets for our clients, and working on various projects to improve efficiency, monitoring, performance, and features
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to feel at home at the SSH terminal or with an API
- Demonstrated enjoyment interacting directly with customers via our online helpdesk and over Slack
- Ability to contribute to and refine our documentation
- Ability to work with WordPress
- Experience with some fo the following: Ubuntu Linux, Laravel, NGINX, PHP-FPM, Docker, Redis, MySQL, Apache, ElasticSearch, Jenkins, InfluxDB
