Job Summary
A provider of a pharmaceutical platform is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote DevOps Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Understand and analyze existing Phil platform infrastructure, build and deployment process, security configurations and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
- Manage day-to-day operations of our multiple services/systems on AWS using Kubernetes, including scale out and capacity planning
- Ensure that the infrastructure supporting Phil platform is secure, highly available, scalable, and maintainable
Qualifications for this position include:
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Experience with Linux, Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with software security methods.
- Experience in Golang and MongoDB prefered. Good knowledge of Ruby, Python, and shell scripting
- A working knowledge of databases and SQL
- A problem-solving attitude
