Job Summary

A financial services firm needs applicants for an opening for a Remote DevOps Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Ensuring smooth operation of production systems and development/test environments
  • Helping the company build scalable, efficient cloud infrastructure
  • Implementing and improving monitoring and alerting

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering
  • Experience working to automate, operationalize, and improve the Development/QA using CI/CD tools (Github, Jenkins, etc)
  • A good understanding of Git including branching and merging strategies.
  • Working experience with Software Release Management
  • Familiarity with Cloud (AWS, GCP, Heroku, etc.), cloud management, and application security
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes/Openshift would be an asset
