Job Summary

An insurance provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote DevOps Engineer II in Chicago.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of services
  • Work with the development, QA, and operations teams to automate steps in development
  • Design and implement scalable and recoverable capability

Required Skills:

  • B.S. in Computer Engineering or related field or strong DevOps experience in lieu of degree
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in software organizations in a DevOps role
  • 1+ year of experience using IAC configurations to create infrastructure in AWS
  • 1+ year of experience working with container tools (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, artifacts, and packaging, and qualitative analysis
  • Experience with deploying, operating, maintaining, and supporting software
