Job Summary

A software development company has an open position for a Remote DevOps Engineer .

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Promoting deployments from lower to higher environments Production/QA/UAT environments on pre-define schedule after CAB approval
  • Researching new technologies that will improve efficiency and effectiveness of the existing processes
  • Recommending performance enhancements by performing gap analysis and providing viable alternative solutions

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 5+ years of experience in Software development
  • Strong DevOps focus and experience building and deployment with technologies such as Maven, Jenkins
  • Understanding of modern DevOps/SRE concepts including automation, configuration management, immutability, observability and reliability
  • Experience with automated deployment for Enterprise Platforms like Salesforce, Dynamics365
  • Familiar with Chaos engineering principles in the pipeline in order to determine weak links and suggest solutions
  • Experience with containers and container orchestration platforms
