Job Summary

A staffing agency is seeking a Remote DevOps Engineer JIRA Administrator in Hartford.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Configuring, maintaining and administering an instance of JIRA with at least 1500 users
  • Working with JIRA to enable custom workflows, fields, dashboards, and reports
  • Creating and managing complex JIRA components

Position Requirements Include:

  • 6+ years' software engineering / devops experience
  • Strong knowledge of scripting and automation tools and strategies
  • Experienced overseeing web application installations, upgrades, and deployment as well as any servers/systems that support hosted web applications
  • Strong working knowledge of configuration management tools
  • Experience installing/upgrading applications; deploying applications/solutions
  • Work with Jenkins and CI tools to automate software delivery
