Remote DevOps Engineering Manager

Job Summary

An ecommerce company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote DevOps Engineering Manager.

Must be able to:

• Be responsible for building efficient solutions to complex business problems. You step forward to lead and tackle challenging assignments
• Dissect and understand business processes and translate them to engineering tasks, while also able to translate engineering concepts back to business stakeholders
• Break high-level business requirements into technical requirements in order to align with your product identity's long-term vision and alter the vision as needed as business needs evolve

Required Skills:

• Someone who has a combination of expertise and the ability to understand the business
• Instrumental in rolling out strategy, building teams, advocating within technology group, and to product/delivery
• 5+ years progressive experience in an engineering role, building solutions from the ground up that support major business functions
• Able to demonstrate project leadership and commitment to continuously grow and maintain their technical skillset
• Experienced in leading project/initiative teams to successful outcomes
• Experienced in multiple software languages
