Job Summary

A software company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote DevOps IT Engineer in Houston.

Must be able to:

  • Continually improve DevOps tools, processes, and procedures
  • Build, maintain, and scale cloud native infrastructure for Production, QA, and Dev environments
  • Develop and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery systems

Qualifications Include:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years of experience working with Docker and Kubernetes and open source technologies
  • Experience with DevOps and cloud native environments, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Spinnaker
  • Exposure to configuration management systems such as Puppet/Chef/Ansible
  • Experience with asynchronous and high-message volume processing
