Job Summary

A non-profit educational organization is seeking a Remote DevOps Software Engineer II.

Must be able to:

  • Take on world-changing challenges guided by our Engineering Principles
  • Help understand existing weaknesses and adopt new DevOps technologies
  • Design, code, test and deploy in-house tools and cloud infrastructure services

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Operations, SRE, Services Engineer, Systems Engineer
  • Familiarity with DevOps core concepts, IaC and CI/CD
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python and/or bash
  • Good understanding of Linux/Unix networking and client-server architecture
  • Experience understanding some of the ins-and-outs of package managers
