Job Summary

An information technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote DevOps Software Engineer in Billings.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Architecting and integrating new applications along with occasional legacy applications
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues in dev, testing, and production environments
  • Developing and improving operational practices and procedures

Required Skills:

  • Cloud Engineering (cloud computing) experience with AWS, Azure and/or GCP
  • Expert in networking (VPC, security groups, ALB/NLB, NAT, Route53, VPNs, WAF)
  • Expert level experience with large, greenfield and legacy Ruby, PHP, Python, Node.js, and React apps
  • In-depth experience with the YAML config management tools, especially Helm and Ansible
  • In-depth experience with orchestration tools, especially Kubernetes
  • Experience with Agile processes Testing, code review, good communication skills
