Job Summary
A software and services company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Devops Systems Engineer in Atlanta.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Designing and implementing secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure
- Automating processes and workflows to reduce the workload and ship products faster
- Monitoring virtual infrastructure and being part of a 24x7 on-call rotation to respond to alerts
Qualifications for this position include:
- Having managed infrastructure in one or more Cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud)
- Being familiar with Infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, cloudformation)
- Having experience using configuration management tools (like Ansible or chef, etc)
- Having managed large fleets of linux servers
- Feeling comfortable automating tasks and writing scripts (bash, ruby, python)
- Taking ownership of tasks and lead them to completion
