Job Summary

A government solutions provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote DHS ICE Background Investigator.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Conducting face-to-face interviews to elicit information about applicants seeking federal positions, contract positions or positions within the military
  • Obtaining factual information from a variety of personal and record sources to produce a report of investigation, containing all pertinent facts, of an individual's background and character
  • Completing record searches

Qualifications Include:

  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Investigators must hold current CBP and/or ICE credentials
  • Must meet the background investigations national training standards
  • Strong computer and typing skills for composing narrative reports of investigation
  • Excellent communication skills in both oral and written formats and superior organizational and time management skills
  • Must hold an active federal security clearance (SSBI or TS)
