Key responsibilities
- Educate patients on diabetes management techniques and lifestyle modifications
- Guide patients in monitoring blood sugar levels and administering insulin

Required qualifications
- Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification
- Completion of NCLEX
