A news media company is filling a position for a Remote Digital Associate.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Monitoring social media for breaking news and trending topics
- Drafting, scheduling, and publishing all social media content consistently across social media platforms
- Assisting the Digital Director in implementing digital strategies that include social media, email, and paid digital components
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Excellent writing skills
- 2+ years of relevant work experience managing social media accounts
- Experience analyzing and reporting on analytics data
- Experience using native social media analytics and Google Analytics
- Politically savvy, aware, and engaged, with an insatiable appetite for news
- Professional experience using Facebook, Twitter, and email programs
