Job Summary

A rental property management firm needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Digital Product Designer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Collaborate with product designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure consistency across all digital experiences
  • Conduct discovery sessions, competitive research, customer interviews, and prototype interfaces for usability studies
  • Design for responsive web and iOS/Android interface, document UX/UI guidelines, and test digital product accessibility (WCAG 2.0, AA)

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Solid understanding of UX and UI principles
  • Experience designing digital interfaces that have shipped
  • Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools (e.g. Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision Studio, etc) and working with UI pattern libraries
  • Understanding of how to work with and contribute to design systems
  • Ability to thrive in a distributed, remote, and collaborative environment and a passion for creating inclusive digital experiences
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS is required, JS is a bonus!
