Remote Direct Bill Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Direct Bill Accountant (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Retrieve and manage commission statements from insurance carriers, coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of direct bill commissions and perform monthly reconciliations
• Collaborate with client service teams to investigate and resolve reconciliation issues

Qualifications and Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in an insurance brokerage
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Experience reconciling financial data, including general ledger accounts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with large data sets
