Job Summary
A staffing agency has a current position open for a Remote Direct Endorsement Certification Training Program Underwriter in San Jose.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Underwriting conventional loans to verify for completeness
- Developing and maintaining an up to date and sound knowledge of multiple loan product guidelines
- Reworking loans to new terms
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years front-end conventional underwriting experience
- Minimum of 3 years full-time experience reviewing credit applications and property appraisals
- Manual Underwriting Experience
- Appraisal review and tax return analysis skills
- Experience reading and interpreting AUS (DU/LPA)
- Prior credit signing authority
