Job Summary

A staffing agency has a current position open for a Remote Direct Endorsement Mortgage Underwriter in Georgetown.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Processing a minimum of 50 new loans per month
  • Evaluating loan applications for risks and various criteria such as investor requirements, accuracy, consistency and completeness
  • Reviewing new loan files to ensure loan meets agency, investor and program criteria

Qualifications Include:

  • 5+ years of recent Mortgage Underwriting
  • Strong agency guideline knowledge
  • Ability to obtain LAPP certification
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
