Job Summary
A manufacturing company is seeking a Remote Direct Fastening Engineer in Westchester.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Support the design process to achieve all quality, performance, schedule and cost objectives
- Perform hands-on concept development, proto-typing, product testing, data collection and definition of product specifications
- Investigate design issues & test failures, and identify, recommend and implement corrective actions to components
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Willingness to travel to manufacturing and independent testing locations including domestic and international
- You’re a multi tasker who is eager to apply your engineering knowledge to help grow this product category
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years of experience
- Computer literate; MS Word, Power Point, Excel
- Knowledge of direct fastening technologies including powder / gas tools and accessories
- Familiar with technical standards including PATMI, ANSI and ICC-ES (AC70)
