Job Summary

A digital media service has a current position open for a Remote Direct-to-Consumer Engineering Team Manager.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Leading a team in developing and delivering highly reliable, resilient, and scalable media supply chain workflow for VOD
  • Working closely with vendors to provide requirements for a new feature, improving functionality and bugs
  • Supporting, coaching, and developing high performing engineers through regular one to one consults

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience leading a development team working on VOD distribution, design, architecture and implementation
  • Expertise with media automation workflows in the cloud
  • Expertise with the Software Development Life Cycle, software-based tools and workflows.
  • Strong understanding of Media Supply Chain workflows
  • Experience with web technologies, digital video workflow and operations, and digital video technology development.
  • Knowledge of cloud VOD transcode and packaging services
