Remote Disability Claims Examiner

Job Summary

An insurance provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Disability Claims Examiner.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Reviewing medical records, completing financial calculations, and coaching peers/team members
• Documenting claim information in a clear and concise manner.
• Communicating via telephone, email, and text with employees, employers, attorneys, and others

Required Skills:

• College degree and prior claim experience preferred
• LTD claims experience preferred, but not required

• Proficiency with PC-based programs such as Excel and Word
• Proven skills in positive and effective interaction with challenging customers
• Experience in effectively meeting/exceeding individual professional expectations and team goals
