Job Summary
A management, technology, and policy consulting firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Disaster Recovery Training and Technical Assistance Professional.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to teams assisting with post-disaster recovery efforts
- Support housing, community and economic development programs
- Provide guidance and expertise on applicable Federal regulations and requirements
Qualifications for this position include:
- Travel will vary, but will average approximately 30% of total time
- Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Public Policy, Government, or a related discipline
- 12+ years of in-depth and hands-on knowledge of the CDBG/CDBG-DR programs
- Disaster recovery experience at the grantee level or with a consulting firm
- 5+ years providing training and technical assistance in the field of disaster recovery
- Project and personnel management skills and experience
