A non-profit company has an open position for a Remote Distributed Organizing Coordinator.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing all documents related to team organization, voter contact events, and team culture
- Providing coaching and support to build a strong tactic-based distributed volunteer team
- Performing online community management tasks
Skills and Requirements Include:
- A demonstrated ability to build and maintain volunteer structures, either in a campaign or a grassroots organizing capacity
- Comfort in a rapidly changing campaign environment
- Aptitude for connecting with people, forming and maintaining new relationships, and asking folks to step up
- High level of comfort with using technology to organize (Zoom, Slack, email platforms, social media platforms, etc)
- Strong written and oral communication skills, and consistent reporting habits
